About the Streetcar

Omaha’s planned Streetcar is more than just transit—it’s a catalyst for economic growth while enhancing connectivity and accessibility. The initial streetcar route will connect neighborhoods, business districts like Midtown Crossing, tourist attractions, and community amenities between downtown Omaha and the Blackstone District Visitors. In 2028, residents can enjoy exploring Omaha’s districts, attractions, and entertainment venues with the convenience of a free, car-free streetcar ride.
