Exciting Events at Turner Park

 

1. Wednesday Night Workouts 

When: Wednesdays through July 31 at 6 PM 

Cost: Free & Open to the Public 

Details: Shake off the mid-week blues with our Wednesday Night Workouts! Sponsored by Methodist Health System and led by the energetic instructors from Genesis Health Clubs, these sessions are anything but ordinary. From Zumba to Pound, each week brings a new, heart-pumping adventure. Grab your workout buddy and join the fun! And no shame for getting a fresh margarita, chips and salsa afterwards!  You earned it! 

2. Yoga in the Park 

When: Sundays through July 28 at 4 PM 

Where: Turner Park 

Cost: Free & Open to the Public 

Details: Sundays are for serenity at Yoga in the Park. Sponsored by Methodist Health System and guided by certified yoga gurus from Genesis Health Clubs, this is your chance to unwind in nature. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a curious newbie, you’ll find your flow. Don’t forget your mat and water bottle! Enjoy Omaha’s most scenic outdoor spot for yoga! 

3. Jazz on the Green 

When: Thursdays, July 11 – August 15 

Park Opens: 5 PM for Seating 

Pre-Show Starts: 6:30 PM 

Music Starts: 7:30 PM 

Cost: Free & Open to the Public 

Details: Warm nights, cool jazz. Get ready to groove at Jazz on the Green, Omaha’s beloved outdoor concert series presented by Omaha Performing Arts. Bring your blanket, grab some friends, and settle in for an evening of fantastic music at beautiful Turner Park. Pack a picnic or grab to-go treats from nearby eateries – it’s the perfect summer night out! Leave your heavy cooler at home and check out all the perfect to-go options here! 

4. Midtown Brew Hop 

When: Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM 

Where: Inside participating Midtown Crossing Establishments 

Details: Calling all beer lovers! The Midtown Brew Hop is your ticket to a hoppy adventure. Stroll through participating restaurants, sip on Nebraska’s finest brews, and savor mouthwatering food pairings. Cast your vote for the best brew and enjoy a frothy, fun-filled afternoon. Cheers to a great day! 

5. Butter Brickle Day 

When:  Sunday, July 21, from 12 PM to 4 PM 

Where:  Turner Park 

Cost: Open to the Public.  $2 Ice Cream Bowls for first 500 people 

Details: First Annual Butter Brickle Day. Delicious ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery featuring Mister K’s Clubhouse, Stomp Chomp Roar and oNe Finest!  

6. Night Market 

When: Friday, July 26, from 6 PM to 10 PM 

Where: Turner Park 

Cost: Free & Open to the Public 

Details: When the sun sets, the Night Market comes alive! This family-friendly, dog-friendly event is a must-visit. Explore over 40 local vendors, groove to live music, and enjoy outdoor games and activities. From giant coloring books to cornhole, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss the electric atmosphere and endless fun under the stars!
