1. LOVAM Jazz Festival – September 2, 4-10pm Kick off the month with some soulful tunes at the LOVAM Jazz Festival. Head over to Turner Park at Midtown Crossing for an evening of free live jazz music featuring Grammy award-winning saxophonist Gerald Albright, flautist Althea Rene, and local favorite Chad Stoner. It’s a musical experience that will have you groovin’ all night long.

2. Opera Outdoors – September 8.  Classical meets nature at Opera Omaha’s annual kick-off event. On September 8, Turner Park becomes a stage for a free, family-friendly opera concert. Relax on your picnic blanket and enjoy a fusion of beautiful opera melodies and the soothing sounds of nature. And don’t worry about rain – the show goes on either outdoors or on September 9.

3. Chalk Art Festival – September 9 & 10, 10am-6pm Prepare to be dazzled as Midtown Crossing’s Farnam Street transforms into an artistic wonderland during the 5th Annual Chalk Art Festival, sponsored by Omaha Steaks. Local artists will work their magic on the sidewalks, creating vibrant and stunning chalk masterpieces. It’s an event that promises creativity, color, and a lot of family-friendly fun.

4. Fall Fitness in the Park – Sundays at 4 pm from September 10 to October 1.  Stay active and embrace the beauty of fall with Genesis Health Club’s fall workout series at Turner Park. From energetic Zumba sessions to revitalizing MixxedFit classes and relaxing yoga stretches, these workouts are the perfect way to keep fit while enjoying the crisp autumn air. And who knows, a post-workout margarita might just be the perfect way to unwind after class!

5. Midtown Music Jamboree – September 15 & 16 from 3-10pm.  Hook n Sync presents the Midtown Music Jamboree, a two-day extravaganza celebrating local music and performing arts. 6. Night Market – September 22 from 6-10pm. Veridian Credit Union presents Omaha’s favorite Friday night event, the 6th Annual Night Market. Turner Park comes alive with local vendors, live music, entertainment, delicious food, drinks, and games. Explore the Vendor Village, tap your feet to live music, engage in outdoor games, and satisfy your taste buds with a variety of culinary delights from the Midtown Crossing neighborhood.
