Sofra Kitchen is Omaha’s newest restaurant concept with dishes being curated by a European chef with over a decade of experience working in regions such as Italy, Greece, and the Mediterranean coast.
With daily brunch and some limited table dining at night, Chef Mikel Fane will create some American favorites, but also several dishes with a European twist and seasonal ingredients that will have customers coming for something new and unique every time. Through his experience in several high end restaurants in the Mediterranean region, Chef Mikel was able to build a dedicated following of customers who enjoyed his large variety of dishes everywhere he cooked. Being able to travel and cook in different regions, he was able to perfect the art of cooking and using many different ingredients that were staples of each region.
It’s with great excitement that Chef Mikel has chosen Omaha to expand for his first entrance into the U.S. market and is a big gain for the city’s culinary scene.
