We want YOU to be a part of the fun. When you join us as an artist or artist team, you get to unleash your artistic vision free of charge! That’s right, no fees – just pure creative freedom. Plus, imagine the fun of seeing your masterpiece come to life right before your eyes, all while enjoying significant visibility and exposure throughout the festival weekend. And, lunch is on us! How great is that?

If you want to brush up on your chalk art skills, participating artists will have access to an online workshop led by a madonnari (AKA professional chalk artist) to share with you. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn and get excited for the main event!
Chalk will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite colors if you have specific ones in mind.
Here’s the nitty gritty
Your artwork must be appropriate for public viewing, so keep it family-friendly and free of any advertising or controversial content.
You must be at least 19 years old to participate.
And most importantly, don’t forget to submit your application by Sunday, July 7, 2024. The sooner, the better!
Did we mention that prizes will be awarded to the artists/artist teams who receive the following awards: Best of Show (determined by judge panel): $500; Best Use of Color (determined by judge panel): $200 in gift cards to Midtown Crossing retailers; Peoples Choice Award (voted on by attendees): $200 in gift cards to Midtown Crossing retailers.
