Dogs Welcome on Midtown Crossing Restaurant Patios

Sep 4, 2025

Great news for Omaha’s favorite outdoor patios at Midtown Crossing! Following recent updates from the Douglas County Health Department in accordance with Nebraska’s adoption of the FDA’s Food Code, pet dogs are now permitted on restaurant patios—provided they remain leashed and the patio meets specific health and safety requirements.

What does this mean?  Now, you can bring your furry friend along while you enjoy a meal or beverage at a scenic patio overlooking Turner Park. It’s a delightful opportunity for dog lovers and pet owners to savor good food, great company, and fresh air together. Please exercise common sense: keep your dog leashed, respect fellow patrons, and ensure your pup stays well-behaved.
