Leaves are falling in Turner Park. Temperatures are dropping and the days are getting shorter. Five, yes five, new businesses are set to open in the Midtown Crossing neighborhood in November and December, making Omaha’s centrally located hotspot the talking point of the season. If you love a good cup of joe, distinctive Thai fare, unique service retailers and more, you’re gonna love what’s headed to Midtown Crossing throughout the coming weeks.

Local Coffee Shop

Coming to Midtown Crossing late November is Stories Coffee Company! The local favorite is coming to the corner of 31st and Farnam this fall with their specialty coffee, pastries, wine, local craft beers and dessert options perfect for an afternoon pick-me up on those colder days. Their goal from the start has been to create spaces where stories have a place to live, grow, and connect and that continues here in Midtown. Health & Wellness Shop

Rexius Nutrition, popular for their health and wellness products and expertise, is NOW OPEN in their new location at 31st and Farnam. Look good, feel good, and get ready to learn more about getting and staying healthy. You’ll love browsing the many health and nutritional products, and learning more about what’s the best product for you! The trained staff will be there to guide you along the way. Thai Food Eatery

If you love Thai food, get ready for some of the best Thai food in the region. Owners of the popular Mai Thai restaurant are spreading their wings and opening up Sea Thai in Midtown Crossing.  Located on Farnam Street, between Modern Love and Chase Bank, Sea Thai will offer a delectable experience for those who appreciate distinctive Thai fare. Seafood options, soups, chef specials and savory entrees will have you coming back for more. Prepare yourself. Office Update 

The Offices at Turner Park is set to welcome Visit Omaha to the Midtown Crossing community.  The team, led by Executive Director Deb Ward, will be moving into the stunning offices, conveniently located along Dodge Street in midtown Omaha. The city’s official convention and visitors bureau, will open at 120 S. 31st Avenue. The 3,000 sq. ft. space has a conference room with a movable glass wall system, which opens up to an outdoor fireplace patio overlooking Turner Park. Soaring ceilings and expansive windows boast views of scenic Turner Park making these contemporary suites some of the most desirable office spaces in the region. Private Event Space

The excitement continues to build as existing tenants make modern improvements to their existing spaces. Case in point: Pa Mas Taqueria and Grill is rolling out a new feature to their restaurant space. Here’s a hint: private parties.
