Midtown Crossing is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events & Marketing Intern.

This paid internship includes up to 20 hours/week from May to September 2026. Working hours will include both nights/weekends, as it pertains to events, and regular business hours.

You’ll work closely with the marketing team to help bring events to life, support marketing initiatives, and gain real-world experience in event planning, promotions, and community engagement. This role serves as an ambassador for Midtown Crossing and plays a key role in creating welcoming, well-run events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support the planning and on-site execution of Turner Park events.
  • Represent Midtown Crossing at events, in the community, and across digital platforms.
  • Help create and contribute content for Midtown Crossing’s website, email marketing and social media channels.
  • Assist with marketing projects and day-to-day tasks as assigned by the marketing team.
  • Communicate and work with marketing team, vendors, and community partners.
  • This role involves working outdoors, standing or walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting or transporting event materials.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience with events, marketing, and/or communications through prior work, internships, student organizations, or campus involvement.
  • Comfortable using common computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and basic databases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative and collaborative mindset.
  • Able to think critically, adapt to changing needs, and make sound decisions when needed.
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with a wide range of people.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
